Accepting Applications for the Class of 2026
Deadline to apply is December 10, 2025
This is a unique pathway designed specifically for middle career physicians. It aims to:
  • Explore the concept of leadership
  • Identify individual leadership styles
  • Develop the necessary skills to expand into leadership roles

Time Commitment:
  • January - December 2026
  • 6 webinars over 12 months 
  • Commit to a minimum of one year on the Governor’s Advisory Council (2-3 meetings, virtual or in-person per year)
  • Sit on one Chapter Committee
  • Attend ACP Leadership Day (usually held in May in DC)
  • ​Attend Scientific/Chapter Meeting
Benefits to member upon completion:
  • Certificate of Completion ​
  • Complimentary registration to the Chapter Annual Scientific Meeting following completion
  • Direct advancement to Fellowship if not already an ACP fellow
  • Relationship with leaders and other Leadership Academy participants in your region.

  • May - Personal & Professional Development
  • July - Mentorship/Coaching
  • September - Advocacy
  • November - Wellbeing and Professional Satisfaction
