This workshop will include ideas for keeping better track of your work using effective lists, making better use of your time through through weekly and daily planning, showing how time blocking can help get high priority work completed, and email a process for handling high volume email. Learning objectives: Participants will: 1. Learn about the 3 types of to-dos, how they differ, ways and ways to write and organize each type to help get them done. 2. Understand the rationale for planning high priority work in advance and the options for using time blocking to allot time to do the work. 3. Learn a method for weekly and daily planning that allow you to be better prepared for scheduled work, and better able to the chaos of each day. 4. Learn about a more efficient email method that includes a process for management of new messages, and options for choosing a place to store emails that need more work.
